Working in close partnership with URI’s Undersea Robotics and Imaging Lab (URIL), Nautilus Defense has developed novel fiber optic microtethers for use within URIL’s Fiber Optic Reel System (FOReeLS). This system presents a low-cost, small size, weight, power solution for the deployment of live-telemetry undersea sensing systems.
