Nautilus Defense has been selected as one of three winners of the 401 Tech Bridge Materials Innovation Challenge. Materials Innovation Challenge funding will enable URI researchers at the Dynamic Photomechanics Lab and the Multiscale and Multiphysics Mechanics of Materials Research Laboratory to perform electromechanical characterization and computational modeling of Nautilus’ novel multifunctional textile systems, which will help to strengthen the company’s offerings to defense and commercial markets.
